A plush, conditioning cleanser that respects the skin’s comfort

PDRN Glow Cleanser lifts away daily residue without leaving dry or mature skin feeling bare, tight, or over-cleansed.

Sunflower seed oil, shea butter, squalane, glycerin, panthenol, and sodium PCA surround the cleansing agents with a cushion of humectants and emollient lipids. Kelp extract, Sodium DNA, and a cosmetic peptide complete the formula, leaving the complexion feeling soft, supple, and prepared for the rest of the ritual.

This is a creamy, slightly aromatic cleanser created for skin that needs nourishment—not the sharp finish of a clarifying wash.

Why we chose it

Cleansing should remove what the skin no longer needs without taking its comfort with it.

As skin becomes drier or more lipid-deficient, a foaming cleanser can leave it feeling tight before the ritual has truly begun. PDRN Glow Cleanser combines mild cleansing agents with oils, butter, squalane, and water-binding ingredients to create a softer transition from cleansing into hydration and age-supportive care.

Its most important work is simple: cleansing well while leaving the skin feeling conditioned rather than depleted.

Best suited for

  • Dry, mature, or lipid-depleted skin
  • Skin that feels tight after ordinary cleansing
  • Dull or fatigued-looking skin needing a softer cleansing step
  • Anyone who prefers a creamy, conditioning cleanse
  • Removing light daily residue before an evening skincare ritual
  • Skin that tolerates aromatic botanical oils

This may not be your best fit if

  • You have highly acne-prone or actively congested skin
  • Your skin is very oily and you prefer a lighter-rinsing cleanser
  • You are sensitive to essential oils or aromatic skincare
  • You have highly reactive, rosacea-prone, or medically sensitized skin
  • You need a totally fragrance-free cleanser
  • You expect your cleanser to function as your primary PDRN or peptide treatment

The formula contains lavender, ylang-ylang, tea tree, and cedarwood-family aromatic oils. Patch testing is appropriate for sensitive skin.

🌿 Laurie's Professional Guidance

Let this be a softer beginning.

Massage the cleanser over damp skin with slow, light movements. There is no benefit in scrubbing or pressing harder. The goal is to loosen the day while leaving the barrier feeling held rather than depleted.

Although this formula contains Sodium DNA, kelp extract, and a cosmetic peptide, I think of it first as a nourishing cleanser. Because it is rinsed away, it should not be expected to perform like a leave-on PDRN serum or an in-clinic treatment.

For acne-prone or congestion-prone skin, I choose this cleanser case by case. Its rich emollients and aromatic oils make it better suited to dry, mature skin than to an active clearing ritual.

Key Ingredients

Sunflower Seed Oil
A plant-derived emollient that helps soften the skin and gives the cleansing experience a more conditioned finish.

Shea Butter
A rich botanical butter that cushions dry skin and helps reduce the stripped feeling that can follow cleansing.

Squalane
A lightweight emollient that supports softness and suppleness without giving the cleanser an excessively greasy texture.

Glycerin, Sodium PCA, and Panthenol
Humectant and conditioning ingredients that help the skin retain a comfortable, hydrated feel after rinsing.

Kelp Extract and Sodium DNA
Marine-associated cosmetic ingredients included to support hydration and a revitalized appearance. In this rinse-off format, they complement the cleanser’s conditioning profile rather than functioning as an intensive PDRN treatment.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-38
A cosmetic peptide associated with smoother, fuller-looking skin in leave-on formulations. Here, it is a supporting ingredient within a rinse-off cleanser.

Palmitoyl Isoleucine / Voluformâ„¢
An amino-acid-derived cosmetic ingredient included as part of the formula’s age-supportive profile. Because cleansing contact is brief, we do not position it as a stand-alone contour treatment.

How to Use

Dispense a small amount into damp hands and massage gently over damp face and neck for approximately 30 to 60 seconds.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with toner, serum, and moisturizer appropriate for your skin.

Use morning or evening. When removing substantial makeup or water-resistant sunscreen, use an appropriate first cleanse before following with PDRN Glow Cleanser.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Use a dedicated eye-makeup remover when needed.

Where It Fits in Your Ritual

Morning

  1. Massage a small amount over damp skin.
  2. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  3. Follow with toner and serum.
  4. Apply moisturizer if needed.
  5. Finish with broad-spectrum SPF.

Evening

  1. Remove makeup or water-resistant sunscreen if needed.
  2. Cleanse with PDRN Glow Cleanser.
  3. Follow with toner and treatment serum.
  4. Complete the ritual with moisturizer or evening cream.

If your skin feels tight immediately after cleansing, consider whether you are using too much product, water that is too hot, or a cleanser that is too active for your present barrier condition.

Botanicals in This Formula

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)

Rich and deeply emollient, shea butter is pressed from the kernels of the African shea tree and has been used for generations to protect and condition dry skin. Its blend of fatty acids and naturally occurring plant compounds helps soften rough, chapped skin while supporting the skin’s protective barrier and reducing moisture loss. Especially lovely for dry or compromised skin, shea leaves the skin feeling softer, smoother, and comfortably protected.

Best known for:
Softening dry, rough, or chapped skin
Supporting the skin’s protective barrier
Rich, long-lasting emollience

Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)

Steam-distilled from lavender's fragrant flowering tops, lavender essential oil brings both botanical activity and its unmistakably calming aroma to skincare. Naturally rich in aromatic compounds including linalool and linalyl acetate, it is valued in carefully formulated amounts for helping comfort the skin while creating a softly aromatic, grounding sensory experience.

Best known for:
Comforting and refreshing the skin
Naturally aromatic botanical care
Adding a calming sensory element to skincare

Sunflower Seed Oil - Helianthus annuus

Sunflower seed oil is a plant-derived emollient valued for its softening fatty-acid profile.

Japanese Kelp Extract - Laminaria japonica

Japanese kelp is a mineral-rich brown seaweed used in cosmetics for its conditioning and water-supportive qualities.

Tea Tree Leaf Oil - Melaleuca alternifolia

Tea tree is a strongly aromatic botanical oil traditionally included in formulas for oily or blemish-prone skin. Within this rich cleanser, it contributes to the botanical aromatic profile rather than making the product an acne treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PDRN?

PDRN is a term used for polydeoxyribonucleotide material composed of DNA fragments. Cosmetic products may use ingredients from different sources and in different forms. The ingredient declaration for this cleanser lists Sodium DNA alongside Japanese kelp extract.

Is the PDRN in this cleanser derived from salmon?

The current ingredient declaration does not identify the source of the Sodium DNA. We should not describe it as salmon-derived, vegan, or kelp-derived until the manufacturer provides written source documentation.

Is this comparable to injectable PDRN treatments?

No. This is a rinse-off cosmetic cleanser. It should not be compared with injectable PDRN or represented as producing the same effects.

Why put PDRN and peptides in a cleanser?

They complement the formula’s conditioning and age-supportive story, but their contact time is brief. The cleanser’s primary benefits come from gentle cleansing, humectants, squalane, shea butter, and sunflower seed oil.

Is it appropriate for acne-prone skin?

It is not our first choice for highly acne-prone or actively congested skin. The formula is rich in emollients and contains several aromatic botanical oils. We recommend it case by case when adult acne overlaps with dryness or visible aging.

Is it appropriate for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?

Not universally. Although the cleansing base is conditioning, the formula contains several essential oils and naturally occurring fragrance constituents. Highly reactive or rosacea-prone skin may prefer a simpler, fragrance-free cleanser.

Does it remove makeup?

It may remove light makeup and daily residue. Substantial makeup and water-resistant sunscreen are best removed with an appropriate first cleanse.

Will it leave a residue?

Because it contains oils, shea butter, fatty alcohols, and squalane, it has a more conditioned after-feel than a foaming gel cleanser. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If you prefer a crisp, completely bare finish, this may not be your ideal cleanser.

Precautions

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Patch test before first use if you are sensitive to essential oils or aromatic skincare.

Discontinue use if persistent redness, itching, burning, or irritation develops. Do not apply to raw or broken skin.

Individual skin responses vary. No cleanser can be guaranteed to suit every acne-prone, sensitive, or reactive complexion.
